The Karol J.Piątkowski Nursery is a family run plant nursery
which has been connected with nursery production for three generations.
Our over 60 year tradition and practice have resulted in gaining priceless
experience and vast knowledge in the field of production and cultivation
of ornamental trees and shrubs. From the moment our nursery was established
we have been known for our particular solicitude for the top quality plants
we offer. At present our nursery is an area of 13,00 ha, of which 3,5 ha
is a modern container nursery. We currently watch and try to follow ever
changing-as in every branch of business- trends, solutions and technology.
We are equipped with modern production tools, technologies and specialist
equipment which make everyday work easier for us and for our employees and
make it possible to prepare and load numerous orders quickly and efficiently
. To meet the requirements of our most demanding customers, each year we
introduce interesting novelties to our offer.
Our stock list is directed mainly to wholesale customers,
both Polish and from abroad, landscape architects and companies involved
in planning and planting green areas, town and municipality councils, garden
centers and also private customers. All plants are described in accordance
with standards set up by the Polish Nurserymen Association (of which our
nursery has been a member from the moment it was established),with detailed
information of plant parameters. We present our price offer upon request.

In our stock list you will find firstly a wide selection
of avenue trees for community green planting, parks, street verges, avenues,
and also in smaller gardens. These trees are offered in many sizes, from
10-12 to 20-25 cm circumference, but also solitaire specimens up to 6-8
meters tall can be found. To assure you freedom in planning and realization
of investments, our trees are available both in containers and with root-ball.
Also in our assortment, there are particularly recommended, proven garden
classics, as well as a collection of less known and especially interesting
species and varieties.
A second important item in our assortment are grafted conifers
and deciduous trees which we offer in many species and varieties. These
are correctly formed plants, at least 4-5 years old, produced in 5-20 liter
containers. We also offer other conifer trees and shrubs, including hedging
and formed material in containers and from field production. Apart from
that, we also specialize in the production of Buxus which we offer in large
quantities-also pruned and formed spheres in ornamental terracotta-type
pots.
A few years ago we introduced into our assortment a new
product which are young, grafted, deciduous trees. This is ideal material
for further production, available mainly as one or two year old plants in
containers and also older trees, with bare roots or root-balled. This part
of our production is directed mainly to other nurserymen who already grow
trees or those who would like to widen their assortment with deciduous trees.
Young trees can also be an alternative for more patient customers who wish
to observe how the trees grow and develop in their own garden over the years.
